It is important that your dog is vaccinated before the stay. It is both for legal requirements and to ensure that your dog does not infect other dogs. Here you can read about which vaccinations we require.
Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus are the basic vaccinations
required by law.
Validity 12-24 months.
These are important to avoid infection with kennel cough, or
reduce the symptoms if your dog should become infected. The
Bordetella Bronchiseptica vaccination is not always standard
at veterinarians, so remember to check if your dog has it. We
recommend that you get it no later than 48-72 hours before the
stay.
Validity 12 months.
Vaccination against leptospirosis is not a requirement from our
side, and we also hear varying statements about the need from
veterinarians about this vaccine. However, we recommend that
you talk to your veterinarian about what is best for your dog.
Validity 12 months.
Vaccination against rabies is not a requirement from our side,
but it can be good to have if you are traveling with your dog
abroad. Remember to keep it updated if you have it. Otherwise,
you risk not being able to travel with the dog if you suddenly
need it.
Validity 12-36 months.
We emphasize full vaccination against kennel cough - both Bb and Pi. If your dog is missing vaccination against Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Bb), it can be given up to 48-72 hours before the stay. And we can often help in acute cases. Call us for advice!
